Compensation & Benefits
Starting wage: $38.00/hour
Overtime paid after 10 hours per day or 44 hours per week
Statutory holiday pay: 9.6%

Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation & Site Work
Safely operate hydrovac units for non-destructive excavation, daylighting, and site support
Perform daily pre-trip, post-trip, and operational inspections of trucks and equipment
Maintain equipment cleanliness, housekeeping, and readiness at all times
Report defects, deficiencies, and maintenance concerns promptly
Safety Leadership & Compliance
Actively participate in hazard assessments, FLHAs, toolbox talks, and site safety meetings
Identify hazards, stop unsafe work, and implement controls as required
Follow all company policies, client requirements, and Alberta OH&S regulations
Complete all required safety documentation accurately and on time
Participate in safety discussions and contribute to continuous improvement
Communication & Teamwork
Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, clients, and crew members
Participate in daily operational planning and coordination
Represent the company professionally on client worksites
Support coworkers and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment
Required Qualifications
Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence with Air Brakes
(Class 1 considered an asset)
Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract
(recent copy required)
Valid safety certifications (mandatory):
H2S Alive
Standard First Aid (CPR)
CSTS 2020
Ability to successfully complete
pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
Previous hydrovac or heavy equipment operating experience preferred
Strong understanding of hazard identification and safe work practices
Comfortable working outdoors in remote environments and varying weather conditions
