About Us

Covert Trenchless Solutions specializes in underground utility construction and telecommunications projects across Alberta. We are looking for an

experienced Hydrovac Operator

who can work efficiently and safely in high-traffic and utility-dense environments.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate hydrovac trucks to daylight utilities, trench, and perform excavation around buried infrastructure Work closely with drill and construction crews to support

telecommunications installations

Read and follow utility locates, site drawings, and supervisor instructions Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keeping equipment in excellent condition Maintain accurate daily logs, safety paperwork, and job reports Follow all company safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

2+ years' Hydrovac operating experience

(telecommunications or utility work preferred) Valid Class 3 or 1 driver's license with clean abstract and air brakes Knowledge of

Ground Disturbance Level II

and One Call locate procedures Strong safety mindset with certifications such as

First Aid/CPR, CSTS, H2S Alive

considered an asset Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments Strong teamwork and communication skills

Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
