Job Duties:
Hydraulics Installation
Installation of hydraulic components and systems on heavy-duty truck chassis'.
Read hydraulic schematics to identify assembly or installation issues.
Understand the functionality of hydraulic systems to test installed systems.
Handle heavy materials manually or with overhead cranes.
Maintain traceability requirements by completing required documentation.
Produce quality product in a safe manner while focusing on company standards.
Maintain daily cleanliness of work area.
Adhere to all safety practices and report any unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment.
Skills/Qualifications:
Knowledge in fluid power and hydraulic systems is required.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Basic mathematical skills.
Comfortable using air/electric tools, shop measuring tools & cutting equipment.
Hands-on experience working with heavy-duty commercial vehicle equipment and accessories preferred.
Ability to understand technical engineering drawings and schematics.
Flexible, reliable, and motivated challenge seeker that is results driven.
Ability to work independently or with others as part of a team.
Class 1 or 3 driver's license considered an asset.
Experience:
5+ years working with heavy duty equipment or have relevant technical training/schooling.
Mechanical/hydraulic system installation experience preferred.
