The Role: Hydraulics & Electrical Specialist


The Hydraulics & Electrical Specialist is at the heart of shipbuilding innovation - installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the hydraulic and electrical infrastructure that keeps our products and production equipment running strong.

Key Responsibilities

Install and commission hydraulic and electrical systems in custom marine products, ensuring every detail meets high standards Travel periodically to customer sites for installation and commissioning Diagnose and repair faults or breakdowns in hydraulic and electrical systems Collaborate with Engineering to refine designs and support new ideas Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on production equipment or supporting fabrication Work closely with inventory, production, and engineering teams to keep projects moving Document setups and share best practices for continuous improvement

What You Bring

Deep knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems - design, build, and troubleshooting Mechanical aptitude and a can-do attitude Exceptional problem-solving skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Team spirit and passion for learning and teaching Proven ability to work well under minimal supervision and follow through Strong organizational skills Experience in a production or fabrication environment (marine industry an asset) Forklift and Overhead Crane Certification is an asset Level 1 or 2 First Aid is an asset
