Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting hydraulic systems across various heavy equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with experience working on industrial equipment, farm machinery, and automotive systems. This role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of machinery, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and more, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Duties



Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery Perform routine maintenance and inspections on hydraulic components to prevent failures Fabricate parts and components as needed using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and service bulletins for accurate repairs Conduct vehicle diagnostics related to hydraulics, transmissions, suspension, and HVAC systems Replace or repair hydraulic hoses, pumps, valves, cylinders, and other related components Utilize welding and soldering techniques for component fabrication or repair Assist in the assembly and disassembly of equipment during repairs or upgrades Ensure all work complies with safety standards including air brake systems and heavy lifting procedures Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used

Experience



Dealership experience or service technician background is highly preferred Proven experience working with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, tractors-trailers, or industrial machinery Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, or equipment repair Familiarity with schematics for hydraulic systems and electrical wiring diagrams Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools Knowledge of diesel engine repair, brake repair, shocks & struts, alignment services, HVAC systems, tire service, and welding techniques is advantageous Prior work involving fabrication or assembly of mechanical parts is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
This position requires a dedicated professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety. Candidates should have strong technical skills combined with practical experience in maintaining complex machinery to ensure operational efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
