Motion Canada, a leading distributor of industrial MRO (maintenance, repair and operation replacement) parts, and the largest Bearing and Power Transmission Company in NA is currently recruiting for a Hydraulic Hose Assembler for their Burlington, Ontario Repair Shop. The key responsibilities include working with our Hydraulic Hose assembly team to produce OEM hose assemblies. This exciting and challenging position will report into the Shop Foreman.

Requirements

• Experience in assembling and crimping hydraulic hose assemblies preferred
• Experience in measuring and identifying hydraulic hose and couplings preferred
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use measuring tools
• Detail oriented, methodic work ethic
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Team player: must be willing to assist in other departments as required
• Forklift license preferred
• Must be in good physical condition
• Ability to work overtime as required

Primary Functions

Working in our Burlington Shop Services facility, the candidate will work with our Hydraulic Hose assembly team to produce OEM hose assemblies. Working in a fast paced environment, the candidate will be able to work quickly with accuracy to produce high quality assemblies for our customers. The candidate will have previous industry experience with hydraulic hose assemblies and will be familiar with all aspects of hose assembly including: accurately picking parts, cutting hose, cleaning, assembly, labeling and packaging. Other duties as required.
