Job Description
We're seeking a
highly motivated and capable driller
to operate surface rigs across a range of projects across Canada.As a Surface Driller, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining top-hammer or DTH hydraulic drilling rigs, ensuring high productivity while maintaining safety and environmental standards.
Operate surface drilling rigs (e.g., T40 remote, T40 Cab, SCH 3500, SCH5000) to industry standards Lead and mentor off-siders or drill crews Interpret drill plans and adjust operations based on site conditions Complete daily drilling logs, safety reports, and maintenance checklists Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance on drilling equipment Uphold company and client safety standards at all times
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating surface drill rigs Driver's Licence Strong safety mindset and proven work ethic Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol testing Willingness to work in remote areas on various shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.95-$35.15 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 66 per week
Schedule:
Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed
Work Location: On the road
