hybrid role combining Client Services Administrator (CSA) and Veterinary Assistant (VA) duties

About the Role



This is a dual-role position for someone with a

background in veterinary client care and clinical support

. You'll be the first point of contact for clients and pets, while also assisting veterinarians and RVTs with day-to-day medical and hospital duties.

Key Responsibilities



Client Services / Front Desk Duties:



Answering phones and emails with professionalism and warmth Booking appointments and managing the daily schedule Educating clients on vaccines, surgeries, diagnostics, and preventative care Processing insurance claims and referral forms Managing accurate medical records using Avimark software Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the front desk and waiting area

Veterinary Assistant Duties:



Assisting veterinarians and RVTs during appointments and procedures Safely restraining pets for exams, blood draws, and treatments Preparing vaccines and medications Supporting surgical prep and recovery Stocking and maintaining medical supplies and cleanliness of the clinic Preparing and discussing medications with clients Helping process lab samples and basic in-house testing (as training progresses)

What We're Looking For



Prior experience in a veterinary client care or assistant role Strong communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanor Logical thinker with excellent attention to detail Comfortable using veterinary software (Avimark preferred), email, Word, and Excel Knowledge of vaccines, nutrition, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and basic pet wellness
