We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team. We are seeking candidates local to the Claresholm area, or who are willing to relocate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Applicants must know how to chain up, be very comfortable in winter conditions on remote mountain highways as well. This is a hybrid position between hauling silage, manure, equipment, flat deck, remote camp job. This position requires a self sufficient capable team member.
Duties
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Floating of heavy equipment to and from jobsites
Hauling silage and other crops from infield back to yards
Hauling manure and stockpiling
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details.
Communicate with dispatcher regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during transport.
Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local regulations regarding transportation and safety.
Assist in basic automotive repair and maintenance tasks as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.

and Requirements
Proficiency in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 (Commercial Driver's License).
Clean drivers abstract
Pass drug test
Clean criminal record
Self starter that does not mind doing many different tasks (hauling equipment, camp work, ect).
Excellent record keeping skills for logging daily driving conditions, hours and tonnage
Comfortable on road - M-F, and sometimes weekends. Possible shift work in camp situations.
Minimum of 5 + years experience with provable insurance coverage
Provable experience in mountain conditions, chaining up ECT.
Experience with super B trailers (provable)
Experience with side dump trailers (provable)
Experience with silage (provable)
Experience in freight handling and logistics management.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic repairs in remote situations.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Pay is a starting point based on experience and insurability. We offer a daily food allowance, monthly living cost allocations and performance bonuses for successful candidates. Only successful candidates will be contacted for an interview.
