Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics to ensure efficient and effective system performance. The HVAC Technician will play a critical role in ensuring indoor comfort and safety through expert troubleshooting and maintenance.

Duties

Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units Perform routine maintenance to optimize system efficiency and longevity Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage or water supply connections Weld components as needed for repairs or system modifications Work with boilers and other mechanical equipment requiring specialized knowledge Repair appliances associated with HVAC systems and related mechanical devices Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and construction plans for installation projects Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Maintain detailed records of service activities and repairs performed

Requirements

Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, installation, or repair roles Mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Construction or mechanic experience is highly desirable Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Valid certification or licensing in HVAC or related fields preferred but not required Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Licence/Certification:

Refrigeration certificate and a gas fitter 2 (required)
