Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with experience in light plumbing and mechanical repairs. Experience in commercial kitchen appliance repair would be an asset but not essential as training can be given. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration, heating and cooling systems. Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity. Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete projects. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals related to HVAC systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all work performed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their refrigeration and HVAC needs.

Skills

Proficient in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair. Proficient in Refrigeration installation, maintenance and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operations, and appliance repair is preferred. Familiarity with construction practices and the ability to read schematics is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
