Magnum Mechanical Systems Ltd. is looking for an

HVAC/Plumbing/Refrigeration Service Technician

to join our team. This is a unique position in the service field offering no on call, and very limited weekend work. Servicing commercial customers throughout Alberta we focus primarily on preventative maintenance and technical expertise. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with efficient, knowledgeable solutions to their building's mechanical needs.

This position is responsible for scheduled preventive maintenance for our commercial clients, as well as technical support to our construction crews, commissioning duties, and owner orientations. Duties include diagnosis and repair of commercial mechanical equipment, installing new HVAC/R/Plumbing equipment, assisting in sourcing parts, providing customers with proactive recommendations for equipment replacement or repair, and providing inspection reports and maintenance quotations. You will be challenged to identify and document problems and issues, suggest solutions and implement corrective actions.
The ideal candidate will have a Journeyperson certificate in one or more of the sheet metal, refrigeration, or plumbing/gas fitting trades. Commercial construction experience will be a strong asset, and experience with a full range of commercial mechanical equipment will be necessary (boilers, RTUs, MUAs, etc.). Ability to communicate with customers and a desire to provide exceptional customer service are a must. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate good judgment, organization, and independence in planning and completing assigned tasks. They arephysically fit and capable of lifting, pulling, and managing up to 50 pounds of heavy equipment or objects, and can work either as a team or on their own. Candidates offered a position with Magnum Mechanical Systems will be required to hold a valid Alberta driver's license.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
