Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. The HVAC Technician will ensure systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as drainage and piping connections Conduct welding as needed for system repairs or modifications Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues Perform boiler maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal operation Utilize mechanical knowledge to replace or repair components such as motors, fans, valves, and thermostats Conduct appliance repair related to HVAC equipment when necessary Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with local building codes

Requirements

Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair; mechanical knowledge is essential Strong background in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair preferred Familiarity with schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes Experience with construction or general maintenance work is a plus Mechanic experience or background in related fields such as construction or appliance repair is advantageous Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments Valid certification or licensing in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.10-$53.00 per hour
