Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician and/or apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently. Build, weld, as necessary to complete installations or repairs. Conduct repair tasks as needed to support overall system functionality. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports. Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician and/or apprentice or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics. Proficiency in building, welding, plumbing, and appliance repair related to HVAC systems. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
