Key Responsibilities:
- Install and service HVAC units (furnaces, A/Cs, humidifiers, water heaters)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical/electrical components
- Perform routine maintenance
- Maintain clear communication with customers and office staff
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately.
Perform necessary repairs or replacements of components such as motors, compressors, pumps, and thermostats.
Build and weld components as needed for system installations or repairs.
Plumb new installations according to local codes and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and inventory of parts used.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- G2 Gas License (required)
- 2+ years of HVAC experience
- Valid G Driver's License
- Strong technical and customer service skills
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC issues effectively.
Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to HVAC systems is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC installations and repairs.
Experience in building, welding, or plumbing is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
