We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems. Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, and thermostats. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in buildings. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Requirements

Journeyperson Plumber, Pipefitter or Refrigeration Mechanic with a current 400,000 BTU and over Gas Licence. Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician experience. Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems, plumbing, appliance repair, and field service operations. Familiarity with HVAC design principles and construction practices is preferred. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems. Proficient in equipment repair techniques and maintenance procedures for various HVAC units. Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
