Overview

Currently we are looking to add a certified gas technician with experience in service, maintenance, residential and commercial installation.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating, cooling, and ventilation units. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently. Weld components as necessary for system repairs or installations. Conduct appliance repair related to HVAC systems. Build and assemble HVAC units according to specifications. Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Troubleshooting all aspect of heating and air conditioning systems Perform regular preventative maintenance on heating and air conditioning equipment. Comply with all safety code requirements for this industry. Skills, knowledge, and experience required.

Experience

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Valid certification or license in HVAC is a must. Gas license G1, G2, G3 Air conditioning & refrigeration license preferred. Gas licensed for 2 years + experience preferred. Excellent troubleshooting skills Effective knowledge in HVAC systems Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Strong work ethics with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong oral and written communication skills Good customer service skills

Full time hours 40 + hours per week Driver's license required. French is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$36.00 per hour

Additional pay: Overtime pay

Schedule: Monday to Friday (some weekends) and on call approx. every 7 weeks
