Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units Perform routine inspections to identify issues and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely Troubleshoot mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage and water supply connections Utilize welding skills for repairs or modifications when necessary Service boilers and other heating equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards Repair appliances and mechanical components as needed Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for system installation and troubleshooting Perform maintenance tasks including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts to extend equipment lifespan Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards

Skills

Proven experience with HVAC systems installation, repair, and maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively Skilled in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and appliance repair Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC system installation Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately Mechanical or mechanic experience preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
