Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems to ensure efficient and safe installations. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients and team members to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties

Install HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and schematics Perform ductwork, piping, and wiring necessary for system operation Conduct system testing to verify proper functionality and efficiency Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues during installation Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building codes Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC systems as needed Use welding, plumbing, and mechanical skills to adapt systems to specific site requirements General and other inspections of all types of appliances for residential users. Correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance. Explain the value of our products, services and programs on every call. Adhere to all safety rules and procedures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations. Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

Experience

Proven installer with 5+ years in residential HVAC installations Knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair is highly desirable Ability to operate tools and equipment related to HVAC installation safely and effectively
Skills & Abilities

Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must have a Gas Technician II license. Preferred: Certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario - 313d or 313a). Must have valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card. Sheet metal license would be an asset. Must have at least a Class G Driver's License. Be willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required. Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting of 25 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications. Must have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills. Must have outstanding customer service skills. Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics/electricity). Must be willing to wear Company provided uniform. Maintain company vehicle to neat clean and safe standard.
