Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC / G1 Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, boilers, and air conditioning systems, along with mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC systems in industrial and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with other technicians on complex installations or repairs that may require additional skills such as plumbing or welding. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding services performed and recommendations for future maintenance. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a strong understanding of boilers / HVAC systems. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various appliances and equipment. Familiarity with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and construction practices is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals related to HVAC systems. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job location. Pay: $60.74-$63.77 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 50 per week
