Summary

We're seeking a skilled and motivated professional with a strong background in commercial sheet metal to join our growing team. This hands-on role combines responsibilities of a Project Manager, Foreman, and Site Supervisor, overseeing HVAC projects from estimating to completion. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, perform material take-offs, manage crews, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. Strong technical knowledge, computer literacy, leadership, and the ability to work independently and with teams are essential.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, install, and replace commercial sheet metal duct systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to determine layout and installation details. Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, project specifications, and company quality standards. Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain efficient workflow and on-time project completion. Communicate professionally with clients, addressing questions or concerns during installation. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to obtain current material pricing and availability. Procure and order materials, ensuring timely delivery to job sites. Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, takeoffs, and bids for projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses. Resolve project issues, delays, or conflicts promptly. Plan, manage, and supervise commercial HVAC projects from initiation to completion.

Requirements

Journeyperson Sheet Metal Certification Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
