ROLE OVERVIEW



As an

HR Business Partner / HR Coordinator

, you will serve as a critical link between operations and HR.
Your mission:

drive performance, support leaders, elevate culture, and ensure compliance

across a multi-unit retail network.

You will collaborate closely with senior leaders, District Managers, store teams, and HQ departments to implement HR strategies that support business success and employee engagement nationwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



People & Leadership Support



Partner with operational leaders to execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. Coach and advise managers on performance management, employee relations, disciplinary processes, and workforce planning. Lead and support change management initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding



Manage full-cycle recruitment using ATS platforms such as Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, or ADP. Source, screen, interview, and recommend top-tier retail talent. Coordinate onboarding and orientation to ensure an exceptional employee experience.

HR Operations & Compliance



Oversee HR policies, compliance, and employment standards (FMLA, labor law, ESA, CNESST). Administer benefits and leave programs using systems such as Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, Paylocity, or UltiPro. Maintain accurate HR documentation, audits, and reporting.

Culture, Training & Engagement



Facilitate training programs, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives. Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize workflows and strengthen the HR function. Support organizational design initiatives that promote agility and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree

in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field.

5-10 years

of progressive HR experience, ideally within

retail or multi-site operations

. Strong experience with ATS and HRIS platforms (Workday, Oracle HCM, Dayforce, Kronos, ADP Workforce Now, etc.). Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proven experience in performance management, conflict resolution, and coaching. Strong analytical capability; able to interpret HR data to inform decisions. Fully

bilingual (French/English)

. A proactive, detail-oriented, people-first mindset.
