Job Description

The Human Resources Summer Student will support the HR team with day-to-day operations, employee programs, and ongoing HR projects. This role is ideal for a student pursuing studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Hourly wage : $19.50/hr to $21.15/hr

Support HR documentation, filing, data entry, and maintaining employee records Participate in HR projects related to engagement, training, and policy updates Help coordinate employee events and wellness initiatives Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and HR processes Assist with recruitment activities, including posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Previous HR or office experience is considered an asset
