Understands how to translate culture into local solutions that resonate with employees and positively impact the business (e.g., deciphering local engagement survey results and creating multi-level action plans; helping leaders prioritize employees for promotions or merit increases; suggesting changes based on business needs).
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, presentation, listening), and the ability to interface comfortably at all levels of the organization.
Develops local initiatives to promote and drive established guidelines for talent management, People Package budgeting, and rewards philosophies.
Is adept at coaching, mentoring, and performance management to coach for improvement or high-potential development.
Is knowledgeable about trends and technology that can be leveraged to support effective development. and engaging
Can work with a high degree of autonomy
Is flexible and can easily adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
Possess a strong work ethic and well-honed prioritization and organizational skills
Is a strategic thinker and demonstrates the ability to propose and implement ideas and solutions while understanding the importance and necessity of executing certain tactical tasks (reviews and updates of master data, regular budget reviews, opening hardware/software tickets, routine communications around important dates, reminders, etc.)
Demonstrates the ability to work well in "the gray" and can breathe deeply and laugh when things get tough

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a related field preferred Minimum 5 years of directly related experience, 5+ years preferred CPG experience a plus Experience creating and implementing strategic and impactful human resources initiatives Experience with one or more of the following: HR generalist, learning and development, talent management, OE/OD recruiting, and coaching Understands key HR theories, practices, and emerging ideas, but takes a practical rather than academic approach Experience working with business populations Strong computer skills: PC with experience in Microsoft Suite (especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
