Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Operations Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, and technical support to the Human Resources Business Partners and the Director of Human Resources. This role contributes to the effective functioning of the Human Resources department by supporting recruitment, onboarding, personnel records management, HR reporting, compliance activities, and general HR operations. The HR Operations Assistant plays a key role in ensuring HR processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with organizational policies, legislative requirements, and the mission and values of the organization. The position works collaboratively with HR team members, and team members from our departments.



Human Resources related post-secondary education preferred 1-2 years administrative and/or HR experience preferred Knowledge of HR functions, HRIS, personnel records, and employment-related legislation (e.g; ESA, WSIB, OHSA) Proficiency with Google Workspace, HR systems/databases, and electronic filing management Strong written and verbal communication Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to and learn new software Excellent time and project management skills Strong problem identification and resolution skills Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education Must possess valid Driver's Licence and be willing to travel
