Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated HR Manager to support all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and staff development. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing family-owned feedlot that values integrity, teamwork, and professionalism. Our newly renovated office is located 20 minutes north of Lethbridge in the heart of Picture Butte.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage recruitment, onboarding, and job postings.

Process payroll, administer benefits.

Support performance management and employee relations.

Ensure HR policy compliance and oversee safety and incident reporting.

Handle WCB claims, LMIA processes, and staff housing agreements.

Lead, mentor and oversee the work of the HR & Office Assistant.

Contribute to daily HR operations and broader office initiatives.

Qualifications:

Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.

Payroll experience required.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Three plus years of HR experience required.

Degree or diploma in business, human resources, or a related field.

Agriculture industry experience an asset.
