Human Resources Manager

Our client is on the search for a Human Resources Manager to join their Finance and Admin team. The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization and will maintain and enhance the organization\xe2\x80\x99s functions by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations, policies, programs, and practices. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work culture by fostering employee engagement initiatives and maintaining positive employee relations
  • Accountable for the effective design, development, scalability, implementation, and continuous improvement of Human Resources programs, and policies in multiple areas of responsibility including, but not limited to, HR Services, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Labor relations
  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions
  • Conduct salary benchmarking, analyze compensation data, and make recommendations for salary adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
Your strengths include:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field, preference to HR, 7-10 years benefit administration and/or HR experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong people leadership ability with experience coaching and mentoring functional leads across multiple areas
  • Demonstrates strong labor relation skills and knowledge including incident investigations and union employee grievance processes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by our client
  • Must possess a valid passport with the ability to travel out of town/country to facilitate the needs of your position
