Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager Corporate & Plant level is responsible for managing, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and analyzing the operations of the Human Resources department at the Corporate and plant levels.

A strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to all corporate functional teams within the company.

Key areas of responsibility include Global HR strategy, HR KPIs, attendance and disciplinary management; labor relations; HR Programs, training and development; recruitment and selection; and employee/union relations.

Job Duties

Lead Employee and Labor Relations, both domestically and international Support Corporate-Plant Office Departments -Sales, Quality, Program Design, Purchasing, Health & Safety, Finance, IT, and Engineering. Support HR Partners and initiatives in plants, including plant visits, HR standards, investigations, employee turnover, coaching, and professional development. Ensuring the ongoing development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to attract, select, and develop great corporate and plant talent. Advisor to Senior Executive Leadership Drives HR initiatives, functional excellence, and process improvement. Create a positive and energetic work environment; promoting employee engagement and health work relationships. Develop and introduce policies. Maintain and manage all employee and union relations including grievances, discipline, complaints, attendance, etc. Lead bargaining negotiations and labor relations strategy. Advise Company Managers related to organizational matters such as discrimination, discipline, harassment, employee performance, interpretation and administration of policies, programs, best practices, etc. Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding plans Partner & Support EHS in maintaining and adhering to systems Support WSIB reporting and RTW programs Support employee immigration through legal services Ensure employee personnel files are maintained Manage employees' benefits, life insurance, drivers insurance Attend grievance/union meetings Manage union employees' attendance, time off requests, and labor concerns Compile statistical reports and develop metrics concerning personnel-related data such as turnover, grievance resolution, cost, lost time injuries and absenteeism rates. Maintain corporate /Plant organizational structure. Partner with external hiring services Support company events, incl. Charities and Outreach Training Planning and Matrix Assist in the investigation and reporting of accidents/incidents. Partner with external legal on immigration matters
Requirements:

5 years of Human Resources / multi-facility experience Will have career experience that exposed the candidate to a broad range of the functional areas of human resources to include compensation, benefits, union / non-union work environments, employee relations, talent acquisition, employer branding, leadership and organizational development. On-site work: Willing to work on-site (Corporate &Plant) 5 days a week College Diploma or University Degree, Certification or equivalent Employee and Labour Relations experience Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems ADP preferred Valid "G" class drivers license Ability to speak Spanish an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,857.26-$100,000.00 per year
