Clearwater Seafoods' Human Resources Department requires a HR Intern. This position is located in Bedford, Nova Scotia.

Reporting Structure:



This individual will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources

Major Responsibilities:



Assist with the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, posting job ads, managing the careers inbox and scheduling interviews. Conduct initial phone screenings with candidates to assess their qualifications and interest in the position. Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding activities, such as setting up new employee accounts. Help maintain employee files and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate. Assist with employee communications including communications, employee handbooks, training manuals etc. Support HR team members with various projects and initiatives, this includes providing administrative, reporting, and technical support. Assist with HR-related events, such as career fairs, company events or company-sponsored activities. Complete other tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or HR team members.

Qualifications



Recent graduate with a Business diploma Above average knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word ADP user knowledge is an asset. Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and written. Strong problem solving skills.
