INTERNSHIP SUMMARY
Curious about what really happens behind the scenes in Human Resources? The WK Kellogg Summer Internship offers students hands-on experience supporting people, processes, and programs that help keep a global organization running strong. This internship is designed to give you meaningful exposure to HR work while building foundational skills you can carry into your career. As an intern, you'll contribute to real projects, collaborate with experienced HR professionals, and gain insight into how HR supports both employees and business goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Support day-to-day HR operations across areas such as onboarding, employee records, and HR process administration.
  • Assist with recruiting and hiring activities, including candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and tracking hiring activity.
  • Help maintain accurate employee data by updating HR systems and managing confidential information with care.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to HR team members and business partners.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives that support department goals, employee experience, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners while learning how HR policies and practices support the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
  • How Human Resources supports employees throughout the full employee lifecycle.
  • The fundamentals of HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, data management, and compliance.
  • How to handle confidential information professionally and ethically.
  • How to communicate effectively with employees, leaders, and HR partners in a corporate environment.
  • How HR contributes to business success through people-focused strategies, organization, and process improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is a 4-month Summer 2026 student internship designed to provide hands-on experience within a corporate Human Resources function.
At a Minimum:
  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education for the Fall 2026 term.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire, as of May 4, 2026.
  • Available to work full-time hours starting May 4, 2026 through September 5, 2026.
Preferred:
  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Management, or a related field aligned with HR professions.
Salary Range: $22.00 per hour
