Job description
CCBST (Canadian College of Business Science and Technology ) is in need of a Online Human Resources Instructor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include
Deliver curriculum in recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, compensation, and labor relations.
Teach Canadian employment standards, workplace legislation, human rights, and occupational health & safety regulations.
Provide instruction in HR processes such as job design, HR planning, and employee engagement strategies.
Guide students in using HR tools and software for recruitment, payroll, and workforce management.
Incorporate case studies, role-playing, and simulations of workplace HR scenarios.
Mentor students in developing professional HR documentation, such as job descriptions, offer letters, and performance evaluation forms.
Assess student learning through assignments, projects, and presentations.
Stay up to date with Canadian HR legislation, best practices, and industry certifications.
Qualification
Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional designations such as CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional), CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader), or CHRE (Certified Human Resources Executive) are strong assets.
Minimum 2-3 years of professional HR experience in recruitment, training, payroll, or labor relations.
Teaching, training, or mentoring experience (preferred).
Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment standards, and compliance.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and related tools.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to translate HR theory into practical, job-ready applications.
