We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this role, you will oversee key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and training initiatives. Your expertise will help foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with labour laws and company standards.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, posting openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities.
  • Address employee concerns and mediate workplace conflicts to promote a harmonious and inclusive work environment.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures while ensuring adherence to labour laws and organizational standards.
  • Oversee employee training programs and performance management initiatives to support skill development and continuous growth.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper documentation of HR-related activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with overall business goals.
  • Provide guidance on benefits administration and support employees with related queries.
  • Monitor compliance with labour regulations and recommend updates to policies when necessary.
  • Support diversity and inclusion efforts to build a more equitable workplace.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and improve organizational performance.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Familiarity with HR software and tools to manage workforce data and streamline processes.
  • In-depth understanding of labour laws, HR compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage employee interactions and resolve conflicts.
  • Experience in designing and delivering employee training and development programs.
  • Ability to align HR strategies with organizational objectives and foster a positive company culture.
