We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this role, you will oversee key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, policy implementation, and training programs. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage recruitment strategies, including creating job descriptions, posting openings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires into the organization.
  • Address employee concerns and mediate workplace conflicts to promote a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Plan and execute training programs to enhance employee skills and support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement performance management systems that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance on HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations best practices.
  • Utilize HR software to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven expertise in full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
  • Experience with employee relations, including conflict resolution and fostering workplace culture.
  • Proficiency in using human resources software and tools.
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs and performance management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
