HR Generalist/Assistant

OUR CLIENT
Our client is a medium sized General Contractor, established and reputable construction company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects. Their close-knit team values professionalism, reliability, and teamwork. As they continue to grow we are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist/Assistant to support their recruitment efforts and HR administrative functions.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Generalist/Assistant with a strong focus on recruitment. This in-office role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting hiring efforts, coordinating with candidates, and assisting with day-to-day HR tasks in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with posting job openings on job boards and company platforms
• Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Maintain applicant tracking and update recruitment reports
• Support onboarding of new hires (e.g., paperwork, orientation scheduling)
• Maintain organized employee files and HR records
• Provide general administrative support

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in HR or recruitment preferred
• Experienced working within the construction industry a strong asset
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a small team and office environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
