Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruiting for all open roles
Onboarding and offboarding all Canadian team members
Managing employee relations
Overseeing the performance management process
Handling payroll and benefits responsibilities
Preparing monthly reports and KPIs
Reporting directly to the VP of HR
Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years\' experience in Human Resources, with proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager
Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) is a plus
Familiarity with Canadian HR labor laws and regulations
In-depth knowledge of HR functions (payroll & benefits, tax, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
Strong proficiency in Excel
Experience with paperless or near-paperless HR departments
HRIS experience, preferably UKG
Experience in high volume/high turnover environments (distribution, manufacturing, retail)
Onsite availability Monday to Friday in Manitoba office
Availability to start from the first week of June 2024
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
