Purpose: We are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy, and enthusiastic Human Resources Generalist to join us as a key member of the Human Resources team. In this role you will support a variety of HR functions at March Networks, with a focus on HRIS and total rewards. This role will allow you to work with team members on a variety of HR initiatives, such as policy and program development, employee engagement, compensation and performance management.   • Develop and assist with new and innovative ways to foster employee engagement regionally and globally
  • Assist Talent Acquisition team with recruitment initiatives during highly active recruitment periods
  • Lead onboarding initiatives, acting as a culture champion and reference point for new employees
HRIS \xe2\x80\x93 Employee Data Management
  • Ensure accuracy of employee records; setting up profiles, ensuring appropriate access levels
  • Create and maintain documentation to support key processes and operational activities
  • Foster a positive user experience for employees, assisting employees with system issue resolution as problem arise
Compensation/Total Rewards
  • Assist the Director, People and Culture in the review and analysis of existing compensation data for internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Remain current with industry trends and mandatory requirements, particularly in the field of total rewards and compensation management
  • Analyze and interpret salary reports, job descriptions and assesses for appropriate job levelling and benchmarking positions.
  • Review and communicate market data to ensure competitive strategies are in place
  • Gather information and prepares reports and summaries of findings
Policy and Program Development
  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of policies and programs that are in line with best practices and consistent with company values and philosophies
  • Identify, support, and champion opportunities for change and continuous improvement
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience is preferred
  • Minimum 4 years prior HR experience, preferably as a Human Resources Generalist
  • Good knowledge of employment practices and labour laws
  • Familiarity utilizing an HRIS, running reports and interpreting data (experience using UltiPro an asset)
  • Good understanding of compensation structures, tools and job levelling practices
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor with the desire to work as a team
  • Ability to build strong relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and employees
  • Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients, offering appropriate options, and resolutions required
  • Proficient across Microsoft Office Suite with strong excel skills
  • Experience creating and conducting presentations
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of a diverse work environment
