Job Description



Our client, Grand River Robotics, is looking for a part-time Human Resources Generalist to oversee and contribute to the development of all human resources related activities. The Human Resources Generalist will report directly to the General Manager and take part in driving Grand River Robotics\' success and culture forward via employee relations and management, and sustain goals by maintaining internal policies and legislated standards. We focus on selling and servicing Lely equipment, along with quality complimentary products that accent the Lely brand of equipment. Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with all internal and external HR-related matters, and recommend strategiesParticipate in developing HR related organizational guidelines and proceduresManage the full-cycle recruitment processTrack and administer performance evaluation processPerform orientation and onboarding of new staffProvide coaching and support to leadership on a variety of employee relation topicsProvide guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies and proceduresMaintain active presence by assessing employee engagement, soliciting employee feedback, addressing concerns and delivering company communicationsParticipate in and support Health and Safety initiatives as required, and monitor complianceKeep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practicesRegularly review, update and maintain the employee handbook and associated policies and documentation, ensuring that all are in compliance with legislationRequirements and Skills:Post Secondary education in Human Resources ManagementEfficient HR Administration and people management skillsExcellent record-keepingStrong knowledge of HR functions and best practicesOrganizational and interpersonal skillsStrong decision-making and problem solving skillsAttention to detail3 years\' experience in Human Resources Interested in joining the Team?
