AgriHub Inc, headquartered in Winnipeg, MB, is the parent company of a collection of premier agricultural Operating Brands such as Penner Farm Services, New Standard Ag and Dundas Agri Systems. Our Operating Brands provide our Farming Partners in the Dairy, Hog, Poultry and Grain sectors with custom tailored Design-Build, Equipment, Service and Consumables solutions. We are currently recruiting a Human Resources Generalist for our Blumenort, MB location. This position is an in-office position and works collaboratively with the HR Director to implement Human Resources strategy across multiple entities. Duties include:

• Creates, maintains, and updates all job descriptions for the company.
• Coordinates and oversees recruitment, selection and hiring activities including provision of temporary, trainee services and work experience programs (co-op).
• Recruits at the entry-level and mid-management level.
• Manages all aspects of the new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Responsible for coordinating and managing the payroll function for two companies using Payworks software; responsible for bi-weekly payroll runs and monthly commission runs, issuing pay statements and pay reports.
• Assists with the identification of training and development needs; develops and facilitates courses as required.
• Schedules external training and audits courses as required.
• Facilitation of performance appraisal process.
• Assists with HR project research as required.
• Addresses employee relations issues in a confidential and timely manner; investigates concerns as required.
• Advises and coaches Supervisors and Management in policy administration, discipline, coaching of employees and performance management.
• Conducts exit interviews and assists with employee lay-offs and terminations.
• Provides understanding and guidance to others in Provincial Legislation pertaining to Manitoba, and Ontario (Employment Standards, Human Rights Code, etc).
• Supports the implementation of HR and organizational change initiatives.

Skills Required:

• 3 - 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in HR Generalist capacity
• Post-secondary certificate/diploma/degree in Human Resources Management
• Previous experience in recruitment and training initiatives is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS office, electronic communications, and web-based technologies (e-recruitment)
• Strong, demonstrated leadership and consulting skills.
• Superior relationship building skills with a client orientation.
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to handle multiple job tasks and meet firm deadlines.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, good judgment, and tact.
• Strong organizational skills and a high degree of flexibility to address changing client needs.
