We are hiring an HR Director for our Vancouver client. Leading a small HR team, the HR Director will focus on international growth, integrating HR processes across multiple locations and design and develop HR programs. The ideal HR Director will have 5 years in a leadership role and progressive HR experience, a background in a fast growth industry such as technology is desired.

About The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and experienced HR leader to oversee all aspects of human resources and support the organization's growth. The role includes managing a small HR team, designing and implementing HR strategies, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
About The Position

• Lead HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, benefits, and compliance.
• Develop and execute programs that enhance engagement, professional development, and organizational performance.
• Drive workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives.
• Optimize HR systems and tools (HRIS, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and leave management).
• Foster a positive employee experience through internal communications, culture initiatives, and learning opportunities.
• Build strong relationships across all levels, providing proactive, strategic, and practical HR guidance.

The Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in high-growth or fast-paced technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, BC employment laws, and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead change, build trust, and influence across all levels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Skilled in HR systems and using data to drive strategic HR decisions.

Compensation

• Annual salary range up to $150,000 depending on experience.
• Competitive benefits program.
• 4 weeks vacation to start.
• Hybrid 4 days in office, and 1 from home, based on performance after probation and subject to change as business operations require.
