ABOUT THE ROLE
The Human Resources Director serves as a strategic HR business partner, reporting directly to the Head of HR, ACM NA collaborating to define and refine HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and ensure long-term business success. A pivotal member of the HR leadership team, this position plays an instrumental role in strengthening the organization's overall capabilities. This includes overseeing talent management, fostering employee development, driving performance management, collaborating on employee & labour relations and leading change management efforts. As the primary HR Business Partner for the Regional President, Western Region within British Columbia, South Alberta, North Alberta Areas and Washington state as part of the North American ACM region and providing leadership and direction to the HR team responsible for supporting employees in multiple sites and disciplines, in union and non-union environments. In this leadership role, the HR Director is responsible for shaping and optimizing the organizational structure to drive both operational and strategic success. By aligning HR initiatives with business goals, the HR Director proactively identifies key challenges and crafts actionable solutions that propel the company's vision forward.
