  • Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • 2-3 years\' experience in Human Resources or related field is an asset
  • Experience with HRIS Systems, ADP, JD Edwards, Kronos preferred
  • Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws
  • Communicates effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Plan and organize your own work activities, manage work time efficiently, work independently

Do you meet the requirements for this job?No, Return to JobsHuman Resources Coordinator - TemporaryKruger Products | Produits Kruger New Westminster, British Columbia (Onsite) Full-timeJob DetailsReporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator provides daily support to the Human Resources department. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in the administration of benefits, company policies, procedures, and programs to assure compliance and consistency among management and employees, while providing positive employee relations. This is an 18-month maternity leave coverage position.Job Duties:
  • Responsible for administering Kruger benefits programs for both salaried and hourly employees, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Maintains employee files, updating as needed
  • Acts as a liaison between employees and the payroll department, submitting overtime hours as required
  • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling the New Employee Orientation. This includes collecting pertinent documents, payroll information and training of new employees in the appropriate systems
  • The Human Resources Coordinator provides support for various HR projects as required.
  • Act as first point of contact for employees to answer questions and provide assistance
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
