We are looking for a Coordinator to join our People & Culture team for a 12 month contract. Our preferred candidate has a couple of years of experience in a growing organization and is passionate about making a positive impact on people and their work life. They will be a self-starter, solution-oriented and pride themselves in their intact delivery. They love working with people and are a creative, out of the box thinker who thrives in startup environments. Core Responsibilities:
You are a key player on the People & Culture team and will be responsible for coordinating GraceMed\xe2\x80\x99s Human Resources programs. You will have a direct impact on the organization and the employee, manager, and candidate experience:

  • You will be our HRIS Champion: maintain, optimize, and promote our HRIS Software
  • You will also be the advocate of employee experience through:
    • Administration of the Group Benefits Program.
    • Updating and communicating important employee changes to the Payroll team.
    • Answering employees\' queries or directing them to the right person.
    • Promoting HR programs to raise awareness and promote an engaging and compliant organization.
    • Drive engagement and communication through drafting and distributing an internal newsletter and timely employee announcements.
  • You will be at the forefront of the candidate experience through:
    • Assisting in talent acquisition including job posting, reference checks and contract drafting.
    • Facilitating a welcoming and seamless onboarding of new employees.
  • Support other members of the People and Culture team.

Skills & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resources position
  • Understanding of general Human Resources policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems, experience with BambooHR is considered an asset
  • Able to work within a dynamic, fast-paced growing organization
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and high attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality are essential
  • Experience with Group Benefit Administration
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience using MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
  • Post-secondary education in a Human Resources program is an asset
