We are looking for a full-time

Human Resources Coordinator

to join our Edmonton-based team. The successful candidate's responsibilities will be:

Recruitment



Plan and conduct new employee orientation Conduct training and development needs assessments Conduct exit interviews Coordinate staff recruitment assignments Maintain job descriptions in accordance with organizational changes. Communicate payroll changes to payroll department.

Policy



Collaborate in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures Administer Human Resources policy and procedures Review and update employee rules and regulations Interpret relevant Legislation for the development of Rules, Policies, and Guidelines

Compensation and Benefits



Administer compensation and benefits Support compensation, benefits, and benchmarking reviews Support annual salary reviews

Administration



Maintain human resource information and employee databases Complete internal and external Human Resources reporting requirements as required

Health and Safety



Support the implementation of the Safety Management System Participate in worksite hazard assessments, incident investigation, safety meetings and safety training

Complaints, Performance, Discipline



Document employee complaints, grievances and disputes Support Managers in administration of discipline processes Provide advice to managers regarding performance management Facilitate the performance improvement process for managers and supervisors

General



Provide advice, undertake and participate in key human resources and training projects, researching issues and developing recommendations. Other duties as required
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and characteristics:

1 - 3 years Human Resources experience Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset Strong and confident communication skills in English Solid interpersonal skills Great organizational skills Strong work ethic with positive energy A willingness to learn and grow
