Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company currently looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Blumenort, Manitoba. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the recruiting and talent acquisition methods and strategies. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated recruiting Coordinator to assist in finding, sourcing, attracting, and hiring skilled people to fill the company\xe2\x80\x99s needs. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Assist in coordinating with the recruitment process by posting ad\xe2\x80\x99s, screening resumes, performing reference checks, and completing onboarding process. \xc2\xb7 Communicate with applicants about the position details, working conditions, benefits, and duties while ensuring employees are aware of the expectations. \xc2\xb7 Work with project teams to determine on-site staffing requirements. \xc2\xb7 Work together with the payroll department on new hires, employee information, lay-off notices, and wage increases. \xc2\xb7 Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and paperwork completion. \xc2\xb7 Assist in creating company policies as required. \xc2\xb7 Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding concerns or requests. \xc2\xb7 Support other assigned functions within the team. Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required. \xc2\xb7 Prior experience in human resources, preferably within the construction industry. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and time management abilities. \xc2\xb7 Full understanding of HR functions and best practices. \xc2\xb7 Strong working skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. \xc2\xb7 Understanding of the construction industry is an asset. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. \xc2\xb7 May require periodic visits to project sites to meet with employees and supervisors.
