About the Role:
We are searching for detailed-oriented and enthusiastic student to join our team for the 2026 summer. As the Human Resources Co-Op Student, reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will support the Human Resources Division in delivering high-quality HR services, programs, and initiatives. This role offer hands-on experience in various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training coordination, and HR administration.
Responsibilities:

  • Support key HR processes with the support of the Manager and team, including recruitment process (posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews), onboarding and offboarding, and performance management.
  • Attend Job Fairs and other recruiting events as needed.
  • Identify and develop process improvements and work instructions with a continuous improvement and efficiency mindset.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing documents and reports.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training and development programs.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and employee events.
Education/Specialized Training/Knowledge:
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Good academic standing required.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Microsoft 365, Word) and thorough knowledge of office procedures and office equipment.
