Your Opportunity
We are currently looking for a dynamic Human Resources Consultant to join our People Advisory service line in the preferred locations of Calgary or Edmonton, considerations will be made to other geographic locations across Canada as well.
We support clients with customized, practical human resources solutions that help organizations grow and succeed. In this role, you will support a diverse portfolio of external clients, providing both ongoing and project-based HR consulting services tailored to each organization's unique needs. This position offers hybrid flexibility, with an expectation of being in the office three days per week.

  • Deliver high quality work across the HR Consulting value chain to our clients with respect to full scale HR including and not limited to operational HR support, policy review and development, performance management, employee relations, compensation review and analysis (creating wage grids), provide health and safety support and legislative documentation
  • Preference will be given to those who have a experience in employee relations, policy development, and working knowledge of employment legislation across multiple provinces
  • Participate in the proposal development process and develop and prepare materials for external workshops, speaking engagements, and HR communications
  • Demonstrate strong technical and professional knowledge and continuously strive to learn and develop
  • Remain current with developments and trends in consulting services capabilities and industry knowledge through research and professional development activities
  • Occasional flexibility and ability to travel locally to client sites as needed

Your experience and education
  • You have a diploma and/or a post-secondary degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • You're an experienced HR Generalist/Business Partner/Consultant with 3+ years of progressive HR experience across the value chain, confidently advising clients across various industries
  • You have strong working knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, with familiarity in WSIB, labour relations, OHSA, and pay equity audits
  • You're a proactive problem-solver who brings a client-first mindset and adapts quickly to changing needs
  • You communicate clearly, both in writing and in person and tailor your approach to different audiences
  • You're organized, able to manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • You hold, or are working toward, a CHRP or CHRL designation (considered an asset)
