The HR Business Partner works in concert with business partners to advance our people and organization strategy across the company. This role will have responsibility for end-to-end HR activity within his/her client group.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver on people & organization strategy within client groups and develop solutions to issues that emerge from the business.
  • Act as a trusted business partner with clients by providing coaching, counsel, and perspective on business, team, and people matters.
  • Own and execute on core HR processes within client groups, communicating with, and supporting managers and team members to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
  • Act as an owner of the end-to-end talent acquisition process with the end goal of filling all open and approved requisition in accordance with defined standards.
  • Develop and deliver on talent management plans with the end goal of having the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles.
  • Execute on strategies that improve talent attraction, talent management, & talent development
  • Develop implement solutions based on employee engagement survey data that shapes the culture consistent with the company's aspiration.
  • Ensure a positive employee experience by managing end-to-end onboarding process.
  • Manage all elements of compensation practices within client group in accordance with company standards. Make recommendations for salary offers, compensation adjustments, and promotions.
  • Utilize HRIS system to assist with reporting on various workforce data.
  • Manage the employee off-boarding process, including conducting exit interviews, explaining payroll/benefits implications, facilitating return of company assets and property, and IT changes.
  • Manage the claims and leave management process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of claims/leave from start to finish, including return to work planning.
  • Interpret and administer company policies while acting as a resource to both managers and team members by offering support and guidance regarding company policies and practices.
  • Conduct workplace investigations in accordance with company protocol.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and business initiatives as needed by providing project management and administrative support, coordination, and planning efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, people managers and payroll to rectify pay-related concerns and make recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of HR.
  • This role supports both local employees and broader teams across North America. Proficiency in English is required to collaborate effectively with stakeholders outside of Quebec.

OBJECTIFS ET RESPONSABILITES PRINCIPAUX
  • Mettre en oeuvre la strategie organisationnelle et en matiere de talents au sein des groupes clients et developper des solutions aux enjeux identifies dans l'entreprise.
  • Agir comme conseiller(ere) de confiance aupres des clients en offrant du coaching, des conseils et des perspectives sur les enjeux lies aux affaires, aux equipes et aux talents.
  • Gerer et executer les processus RH cles pour les groupes clients, en soutenant les gestionnaires et les employes afin d'assurer des resultats efficaces et en temps opportun.
  • Etre responsable de l'ensemble du processus d'acquisition de talents afin de pourvoir les postes approuves selon les standards definis.
  • Elaborer et mettre en oeuvre des plans de gestion des talents afin d'avoir les bonnes personnes, aux bons postes, avec les bonnes competences.
  • Mettre en oeuvre des strategies visant a ameliorer l'attraction, la gestion et le developpement des talents.
  • Proposer et deployer des initiatives en lien avec les resultats des enquetes d'engagement afin de favoriser une culture organisationnelle alignee sur les aspirations de l'entreprise.
  • Assurer une experience employe positive, notamment a travers la gestion complete du processus d'accueil et d'integration.
  • Gerer tous les aspects des pratiques de remuneration pour le groupe client, en conformite avec les normes de l'entreprise. Fournir des recommandations concernant les offres salariales, les ajustements et les promotions.
  • Utiliser le systeme RH (SIRH) pour generer des rapports sur differentes donnees de la main-d'oeuvre.
  • Gerer le processus de depart des employes, incluant les entrevues de depart, les implications liees a la paie/aux avantages sociaux, le retour des biens de l'entreprise, et les changements lies aux TI.
  • Superviser le processus de gestion des reclamations et des conges (maladie, maternite, invalidite, etc.), y compris la planification du retour au travail.
  • Interpreter et appliquer les politiques de l'entreprise, tout en agissant comme ressource aupres des gestionnaires et employes en matiere de pratiques et politiques internes.
  • Mener des enquetes en milieu de travail conformement aux protocoles de l'entreprise.
  • Participer a des projets transversaux ou initiatives d'affaires, en apportant un soutien en gestion de projet, coordination et planification.
  • Servir d'intermediaire entre les employes, les gestionnaires et la paie pour resoudre les enjeux lies a la remuneration et proposer des ameliorations aux processus.
  • Favoriser l'amelioration continue dans tous les volets RH.
  • Ce poste soutient a la fois les employes locaux et les equipes plus larges a travers l'Amerique du Nord. La maitrise de l'anglais est requise pour collaborer efficacement avec les parties prenantes situees en dehors du Quebec.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business or a related discipline required.
  • CHRP considered a strong asset.
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources with exposure to a cross-section of HR activity required.
  • Experience and proficiency with HRIS or HCM related systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various Provincial Legislation (Employment Standards, Human Rights, Occupational Health & Safety, WSIB, WCB, etc.)
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required to engage with cross-functional teams and leadership across North America

EXIGENCES - FORMATION ET EXPERIENCE
  • Baccalaureat en ressources humaines, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe requis.
  • La detention du titre CRHA ou CRIA constitue un atout.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'experience en ressources humaines avec une exposition variee aux differentes spheres RH.
  • Experience avec un SIRH ou un systeme de gestion du capital humain (HCM).
  • Bonne connaissance des lois provinciales applicables (normes du travail, droits de la personne, sante et securite au travail, CNESST, etc.).
  • Maitrise de la suite Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Une experience dans le secteur manufacturier ou un domaine similaire est un atout.
  • La maitrise de l'anglais (oral et ecrit) est requise pour interagir avec les equipes interfonctionnelles et la direction a travers l'Amerique du Nord
