We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. Reporting into the Managing Director you will be responsible for implementing and aligning HR goals to fit with business needs and objectives. This position will formulate partnerships and deliver value-added services to management, employees and clients.
Duties
Roll out and manage HR initiatives and processes that will support the strategic growth of the business and ensuring alignment with the business' clients
Collaborate with managers and leadership on HR strategy and initiatives
Manage full-cycle recruitment including screening/interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation
Sustain an in-depth knowledge of local employment law, compliance programs and stay abreast of current events, policies and offer guidance to leaders
Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and investigations
Support disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans in collaboration with managers
Oversee proper documentation and process for terminations, ensuring fairness and compliance; coordination with labor courts if required
Support and help manage annual performance review and feedback cycles
Manage and track employee leave requests including annual vacation, sick leave and maternity/paternity leave
Administer benefits program including group insurance, RRSPs & Health and Wellness programs
Serve as a point of contact for CNESST & pay equity reporting
Contribute to HR initiatives such as learning and development, culture building and diversity programs
Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date HRIS data and provide regular monthly data reports
Undertake periodical audits of HRIS data
Review and amend employee benefits and policies on a regular basis
Analyze employees feedback and strategize ways to improve employee's engagement and needs
Any other miscellaneous HR tasks, as required
Experience
Hold a diploma or certificate in human resources
5+ years of progressive experience in an HR business partner
Demonstrate analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and French
A strong knowledge of local employment laws and best practice processes for all employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances and redundancies
Ability to implement new processes and build strong relationships
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner
Ability to handle highly sensitive data and confidential information and maintain a degree of confidentiality at all times
Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point) and of HRIS systems

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
