The Opportunity:

The HRBP, Generalist is responsible for leading recruitment and onboarding strategies, performance management, labor relations, investigations, and professional development. This role ensures effective policy implementation, compliance with legislation and collective agreements, and fosters a fair, equitable, and inclusive work environment. The position serves as a key advisor on matters of employee relations, conflict resolution, and workforce development.



What you need to be successful:




Four-year degree in Business Administration specializing in Human Resources + Certified Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP) or working towards, considered an asset
Minimum three years' in a progressive Human Resources role, dealing with talent acquisition and employee relations Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Comprehensive and current knowledge of Human Resource management principles and practices, and ability to apply this knowledge to respond to complex problems and develop creative, effective, and strategic solutions Demonstrated ability to apply and interpret a range of legislation, policies, and collective agreements Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders such as employees, unions, and external contacts Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills Excellent interpersonal and team building skills to work effectively within a collaborative team environment Ability to work independently, establish appropriate priorities, and multi-task Proficient in Microsoft Office




Sault College provides an attractive total compensation package, encompassing competitive wages/salaries, a defined benefit pension plan, group insurance benefits, and a variety of employee perks. This is a full-time administrative position. Salary range is $85,529 to $106,911 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
