Bilingual HR Business Partner - Manufacturing
Reporting to the Senior VP of HR, the HR Business Partner, Manufacturing will act as a strategic advisor to the manufacturing leadership teams, driving people strategies that enhance operational excellence, safety, compliance, and workforce productivity. This role requires strong expertise in manufacturing environments, employee relations, and production-based operations. You will oversee two locations and lead a small team.
Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with manufacturing leadership to align HR strategies with production goals, quality standards, and safety objectives.
  • Use people analytics to predict turnover, identify workforce bottlenecks, and optimize staffing models.
  • Develop workforce plans that address seasonal demand, shift schedules, and evolving skill requirements.
  • Foster a high-performing, safety-first, and inclusive culture that supports productivity.
  • Act as primary mediator for employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Strengthen communication channels between employees and management through town halls, shift meetings, and feedback forums.
  • Lead deployment of the engagement survey, ensuring strong participation and action-oriented outcomes.
  • Conduct skills gap analyses and prepare the workforce for digital transformation, automation, and new technologies.
  • Partner with Talent Management COE to deploy performance management and leadership development programs.
  • Build strong candidate experiences to attract and retain top talent.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to implement corporate programs locally and ensure internal equity.
  • Support salary planning, merit increases, and bonus programs with fairness and accuracy.
  • Lead and develop a small HR team, ensuring operational excellence and a positive employee experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field (required).
  • Master's degree in HR, OD, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • 5+ years in an HR Business Partner or senior HR Manager role with full accountability for employee relations.
  • Multi-site HR leadership experience across Canada and the U.S.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strategic HR leadership with a strong business partnership mindset.
  • Proficiency in HR metrics, people analytics, and modern HR technologies (HRIS, ATS, manufacturing-specific tools).
  • Strong cross-cultural competence and ability to lead within a diverse workforce.
  • Deep knowledge of safety, compliance, and workforce management in a 24/7 production environment.

Relevant du vice-president principal des ressources humaines, le/la Partenaire d'affaires RH - Fabrication agira comme conseiller(ere) strategique aupres des equipes de direction manufacturieres, en pilotant des strategies RH qui favorisent l'excellence operationnelle, la securite, la conformite et la productivite de la main-d'oeuvre. Ce role exige une solide expertise dans les environnements de fabrication, les relations de travail et les operations de production. Vous superviserez deux sites et dirigerez une petite equipe.
Responsabilites cles
  • Collaborer avec la direction de la fabrication afin d'aligner les strategies RH avec les objectifs de production, les normes de qualite et les objectifs de securite.
  • Utiliser l'analytique RH pour prevoir le roulement, identifier les goulots d'etranglement et optimiser les modeles de dotation.
  • Developper des plans de main-d'oeuvre adaptes aux variations saisonnieres, aux horaires de quarts et aux besoins de competences evolutifs.
  • Favoriser une culture inclusive, axee sur la performance et la securite, qui soutient la productivite.
  • Agir comme mediateur principal pour les enjeux de relations de travail, mesures disciplinaires et resolution de conflits.
  • Renforcer les canaux de communication entre les employes et la direction par le biais d'assemblees generales, de reunions de quarts et de forums de retroaction.
  • Piloter le deploiement du sondage d'engagement, en assurant une forte participation et des resultats orientes vers l'action.
  • Effectuer des analyses des ecarts de competences et preparer la main-d'oeuvre a la transformation numerique, a l'automatisation et aux nouvelles technologies.
  • Collaborer avec le centre d'expertise en gestion des talents pour mettre en oeuvre les programmes de gestion de la performance et de developpement du leadership.
  • Creer des experiences candidates de qualite afin d'attirer et de fideliser les meilleurs talents.
  • Collaborer avec l'equipe Remuneration globale pour deployer les programmes corporatifs localement et assurer l'equite interne.
  • Soutenir la planification salariale, les augmentations au merite et les programmes de bonification avec rigueur et equite.
  • Diriger et developper une petite equipe RH, en veillant a l'excellence operationnelle et a une experience employe positive.
Qualifications
  • Baccalaureat en RH, administration des affaires, relations industrielles ou domaine connexe (obligatoire).
  • Maitrise en RH, developpement organisationnel ou administration des affaires (un atout).
  • Plus de 10 ans d'experience progressive en RH, dont une partie significative en environnements manufacturiers ou industriels.
  • Plus de 5 ans d'experience dans un role de Partenaire d'affaires RH ou de gestionnaire RH principal avec pleine responsabilite des relations de travail.
  • Experience en gestion RH multi-sites au Canada et aux Etats-Unis.
  • Connaissance des methodologies Lean, Six Sigma ou autres approches d'amelioration continue.
  • Leadership strategique en RH avec un solide esprit de partenariat d'affaires.
  • Maitrise des indicateurs RH, de l'analytique RH et des technologies RH modernes (SIRH, ATS, outils propres a la fabrication).
  • Forte competence interculturelle et capacite a diriger au sein d'une main-d'oeuvre diversifiee.
  • Connaissance approfondie de la securite, de la conformite et de la gestion de la main-d'oeuvre dans un environnement de production 24/7.
  • Bilinguisme - francais/anglais.
